PURPOSE: To perform automatic coating with high efficiency, while continuing the coating work, when one robot gets out of order, by magnifying the working extent of another robot, and lowering the speed of a carrying conveyer.
CONSTITUTION: Each robot 4aW4f is controlled with an individual controller 5aW 5f and connected to an integrated controller 8. When the motion of one robot 4a becomes impossible, the individual controller 5a detects said impossibility, stops the motion and magnifies the working extent of the adjacent robot 4b. At the same time, the integrated controller 8 instructs a conveyer controller 7 to lower the speed of a conveyer. Thus, the coating work is continued without stopping the line, so that the work efficiency and reliability of the line are improved.
